Mesothelioma Clinical Trial Utilizing Gene Therapy Offers Hope for Longer Survival

Daniel H. Sterman, M.D. is the lead doctor at University of Pennsylvania treating patients with mesothelioma in a clinical trial using gene therapy. This new mesothelioma treatment offers hope for extending life for mesothelioma patients. One patient who developed mesothelioma from asbestos exposure was recently featured in the Philadelphia Enquirer after he survived for more than three years with mesothelioma.
